More Info
Koda was a neighborhood pet who’s family no longer had time for her. She had escaped on numerous occasions, and finally, the owner posted on our neighborhood Facebook group that they no longer had time for the dog since they had 2 children and expecting a 3rd in October so they wanted someone to just take her. When we got to the house we were horrified at what was going on. She was not potty trained, knew no commands or had any training, was in an extremely chaotic and LOUD household, and most importantly she was extremely malnourished. We knew we had to get her out of that environment and brought her into our home hoping that she would get along with our pups, or at the very least we could find her a loving and dedicated family that would take very good care of her. Fortunately she is a very smart dog and under our care she is now potty trained and has learned several commands & hand signals (sit, wait, come, lay down, shake, potty, ah-ah [no], off, nummies [food]). Once she trusts you she is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. Unfortunately, she does NOT get along with our resident dogs and we are forced to find her another loving home where she will be an only pet.
